  • School of Materials Science and Engineering

    Starting in 1952 as the first major of heat treatment of metallic materials in China, the faculty of materials science and engineering (FMSE) at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) has now developed into a faculty of 165 members, among whom 40 have been selected into various National Talent Programs.

  • School of Human Settlements and Civil Engineering

    The School of Human Settlements and Civil Engineering was established in 2005.

  • ​The School of Life Science and Technology (SLST)

    The School of Life Science and Technology (SLST) at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was a founder of the discipline of biomedical engineering in China, and continues to both shape global leaders and drive cutting edge research across several key disciplines.

  • School of Aerospace Engineering

    ​The School of Aerospace Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, established on April 10, 2005. Today, it is a vigorous school with two departments, one state key laboratory and one national-level education center.

  • School of Chemical Engineering and Technology

    ​The School of Chemical Engineering and Technology consists of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, and the Department of Process Equipment and Control Engineering.

  • ​School of Economics and Finance (SOEF)

    ​School of Economics and Finance (SOEF) is a young and passionate school. After the merging of three Universities- Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an Medical University, and Shaanxi Institute of Finance and Economics-in 2000, the School of Economics and Finance was founded on the economic-related majors from the three Universities.

  • Jinhe Center For Economic Research

    ​J.C.E.R(Jinhe Center for Economic Research), Xi'an Jiaotong University, was established in June of 1997, under the joint efforts of Prof. Yusen Kwoh, Prof. Chuntien Hu and a group of distinguished scholars from Taiwan.

  • School of Management

    The school has two state first-level key disciplines-Management Science and Engineering and Business Administration, which were among the first of the kind.
