Representatives from XJTU receive awards at the conference.

The summary conference for the 2025 "Young Envoys Scholarship" (YES) program was recently held in Beijing, with nearly 300 representatives from education administrative departments and institutions, enterprises, and organizations across 30 provinces (regions, municipalities) participating.

Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was honored with the Excellent Organizing AUnit award for the program, and the High School Affiliated to XJTU received the Special Project Implementation Unit Award. XJTU became the only institution nationwide to receive both awards.

During the event, the launch ceremony for the "YES Friends" cooperation mechanism and the theme song It's Great to Know You was held. The theme song was co-created by the One Voice Children's Choir from the United States and the faculty and students of the High School Affiliated to XJTU.

The YES program is a Sino-foreign youth cultural exchange initiative guided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, with the China Education Association for International Exchange serving as the national organizing body.

Since 2025, XJTU has drawn on Xi'an's rich historical and cultural resources and relied on iHarbour to apply for the YES program. To date, 13 projects have been carried out, including 11 with the United States and two with European partners, involving more than 700 participants.
