Member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina Stefan Offermanns appointed honorary professor of XJTU

On May 13, 2019, the title of XJTU honorary professor was conferred on professor Stefan Offermanns, a member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, a tenured professor of the Goethe University Frankfurt and the director of the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research.

XJTU’s discipline of Engineering first enters ESI global top 0.01%

On May 9, 2019, the new Essential Science Indicators (ESI) was announced which revealed that the engineering discipline of XJTU had for the first time entered the ESI global top 0.01%, ranking 13th among 1420 institutions entering the ESI global top 1%.
