The XJTU team wins five awards at the "Aokai Cup" 11th Intl College Students Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Innovation Competition.

All five entries from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) that advanced to the finals of the "Aokai Cup" 11th Intl College Students Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Innovation Competition won awards, including two grand prizes and three first prizes.

This year's competition focused on fostering talent in modern agricultural equipment, equipping them with professional knowledge, hands-on skills, and a pioneering mindset.

Since its launch in September 2025, the competition has drawn 1,945 entries from over 240 universities worldwide. Following preliminary evaluation rounds, 741 entries advanced to the finals.

This year's competition had four categories: sci-tech inventions in smart agricultural equipment, potato-harvesting robot challenges, corporate-sponsored problem-solving, and forward-looking or disruptive conceptual designs for future smart agricultural equipment.

Focusing on the practical demands of modern agricultural development, participants competed in technical prowess, creativity, and performance, showcasing cutting-edge innovation in intelligent agricultural machinery.

Using its innovation and entrepreneurship education practice bases, XJTU nurtures its students' innovative and entrepreneurial capacities through academic and scientific competitions. This approach has accelerated the development of high-level innovative outcomes, marking progress and achievements in building an experiential practice and innovation education system unique to XJTU.
