Sino-French collaboration in master's education programs

Xi'an Jiaotong University in China and SKEMA Business School in France celebrated the graduation of their Master's Degree Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Big Data and AI Management) for the class of 2025 on November 1. This joint program, focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and AI management, aiming to nurture transformative thinking and adaptability in students.
Professor Shan Zhiwei, vice president of Xi'an Jiaotong University, congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the university's global outlook and its role as a founding member of the "Silk Road University Alliance". He highlighted how this international platform supports students in competing on a global scale.
Professor Alice Guilhon, global president of SKEMA Business School, praised the strong partnership between the universities and introduced SKEMA's "UNVEIL" strategic plan for 2025-2030. She invited graduates to join SKEMA's global alumni network and encouraged them to maintain ongoing engagement with their alma mater.
Professor Patrice Houdayer, global vice president of SKEMA, discussed the successful collaboration and the program's mission to develop talents capable of leading technological innovation and supporting China's economic growth. He expressed SKEMA's commitment to further cooperation in education, research, and exchanges.
Graduates Lin Ling and Gao Shan commended the international platform for providing opportunities to learn and pursue dreams. During the ceremony, a certification event marked the graduates' transition, with gifts and degree certificates presented by Alice Guilhon and Shan Zhiwei.
The Sino-French Joint MEI Program, approved in 2020, began with an annual intake of 60 students which doubled to 120 by 2025. So far, 420 students have enrolled, with 236 earning degrees recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education. The program has received multiple awards, highlighting its success as a model of Sino-French educational collaboration.
