This year's competition attracted over 400,000 projects from more than 2,700 universities nationwide, with over 3 million participating students.
The Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) delegation achieved significant success, securing one grand prize and three first-place prizes in the main competition. In the AI special track, it won two grand prizes and two first-place prizes. For the open challenge special track, it claimed one top winner title, two grand prizes, and three first-place prizes. Thanks to these outstanding achievements, the university once again won the competition's Overall Winner's Cup.
During the final competition, iHarbour, the nation's only university campus designated as a "Challenge Cup" student innovation and entrepreneurship project incubation and commercialization base, was featured at the competition's excellent project matchmaking and signing event.
Over the past 12 years, XJTU has won the "Overall Winner's Cup" 11 times, demonstrating its remarkable ability to cultivate top-tier innovative talents.
The university will continue to enhance its integrated "platform-mechanism-outcome" system for technological transfer and incubation, and aims to transform "Challenge Cup" entries from competition projects into viable market-ready innovations by implementing more rigorous standards and practical measures.
Through these efforts, XJTU seeks to contribute to the nation's innovation-driven development strategy, the construction of a technologically advanced nation, and the high-quality development of China's western regions.
