The Boy Riding a Horse from XJTU Press receives international recognition.

The book The Boy Riding a Horse, published by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Press, has been chosen as part of The White Ravens 2025 selection, which was announced at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany on Oct 15.

This marks the first selection for XJTU Press in The White Ravens, a testament to its commitment to quality, innovation, and global perspective in children's publishing.

Compiled annually by Germany's International Youth Library, The White Ravens selection highlights outstanding children's and youth literature for a global audience. International experts in children's books choose works from diverse countries and languages, making the list a key indicator of trends in the field.

The White Ravens 2025 selection features 215 works in 49 languages from 63 countries, spanning genres from picture books to non-fiction and catering to readers of all ages. Seven of the selected works are from China. The recommended books will be exhibited at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in March next year.
