Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) hosted its ninth comprehensive autumn job fair at the Innovation Harbour on Sept 21, aligning with the Ministry of Education's "Golden Autumn Launch" initiative to enhance graduate employment.

The event, supported by provincial education and human resources authorities, attracted 1,352 employers from 31 regions across China, offering over 100,000 positions in sectors such as energy, advanced manufacturing, IT, new materials, defense technology, and public services.

Over 30,000 job seekers attended, including students from XJTU, other top domestic universities, and prestigious overseas institutions like the University of Oxford and National University of Singapore. Local universities in Shaanxi also participated through a special employment cooperation program.

Thirty-five regional talent delegations visited the fair, promoting favorable talent policies and opportunities to encourage graduates to contribute to regional development.

Exhibitors included central State-owned enterprises, Fortune Global 500 companies, and industry leaders such as China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Huawei, and Alibaba, offering high-end positions for young graduates.

The fair featured targeted career services, including an on-site job consultation station where HR professionals provided resume reviews and career guidance. An AI experience zone offered resume optimization and simulated interviews to enhance students' job-hunting skills. Online sessions were also available to help students understand industry trends.

XJTU's career service center reported that the university will have about 15,000 graduates in 2027. They have developed an AI-enabled career development system for personalized guidance.

Since September, XJTU has organized 376 recruitment activities with 2,717 participating enterprises, a 14% increase from the previous year, offering over 200,000 job opportunities.

A special healthcare industry job fair is scheduled for Oct 17 at the Yanta Campus. Latest recruitment details are available on XJTU's official employment website and WeChat platform.
