Students from SCO member states visit Xi'an's major enterprises to learn about China's artificial intelligence development.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) University Summer Camp on "Innovation and Practice of the Collaborative Education Ecosystem for 'Artificial Intelligence + Industry-Education Integration'" recently concluded at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU).
The summer camp brought together students, experts, and scholars from SCO member states to explore pathways to innovatively develop industry-education integration in the intelligent era.
The 10-day study program integrated cutting-edge academic lectures, field visits to top-tier enterprises, and in-depth explorations of Silk Road civilization. The campers visited seven industry benchmark organizations to see in person how artificial intelligence drives digital transformation and upgrades across China's entire industrial chain.
Established in 2008, SCO University has grown into an international scientific and educational cooperation platform that now includes more than 140 universities across seven countries.
The hosting of this summer camp at XJTU exemplifies cross-border higher education collaboration within the SCO framework. It reflects the university's commitment to leveraging regional resources, engaging with global high-quality educational assets, and supporting the national strategy of opening-up through scientific innovation and talent development.
