XJTU students win top prizes at national electronics design competition

The awards ceremony for the TI Cup 2025 National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest was held in Beijing on Oct 18. Students from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) won two first prizes and eight second prizes.
Since its establishment in 1993, the contest has become the largest, most widely covered, and most influential competition for electronic information-related majors. This year, it attracted more than 22,000 teams and nearly 70,000 students from 1,161 colleges and universities across the country. The winning rate for first prizes was just 1.93 percent.
Ma Bohu, deputy secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee, emphasized the university's commitment to talent cultivation and high-quality competitions. He highlighted XJTU's focus on innovative training models and industry partnerships to foster student innovation and entrepreneurship. He also noted the collaborative effort from various colleges and departments in organizing this competition.
XJTU fosters innovation and entrepreneurship through its dedicated practice base, encouraging colleges to participate in high-level competitions.
This approach, focused on educational reform and talent development, has created a thriving ecosystem for innovation. For this year's contest, over 600 students prepared for nearly two years, with 77 teams and 231 students advancing to the provincial evaluation stage.
