Recently, the 37th International Symposium on Combustion was held in Dublin, Ireland. Professor Huang Zuohua from the National Key Laboratory of Power Engineering & Multiphase Flow of XJTU was elected member of the Board of Directors of The Combustion Institute. Nine scholars from the world were elected the new Board of Directors, including two fellows from the Asia-Pacific region and only one fellow from China.
Founded in 1954, The Combustion Institute is the most authoritative academic society in the area of international combustion research. The Board of Directors manages the affairs, property, and interests of The Combustion Institute, the members of which are all world well-known scholars in the field of combustion science.
