This is an important achievement of the school's implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy and the reform of the national intellectual property policy. It is also the recognition and affirmation of the school's efforts to enhance the quality of patents and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

XJTU has actively carried out demonstrations of innovation and reform of intellectual property management patterns and strengthened and improved the incentive system for scientific and technological innovation, and is committed to improving the quality and overall value of patent creation.

The university has continuously strengthened the collaborative innovation integrated production, learning, scientific research, and practical application, explored the establishment of joint research and development institution with local departments and enterprises, promoted the role of iHarbour, and accelerated the implementation of national projects and strategies so as to improve the effectiveness of scientific and technological achievement transformation.

In the future, XJTU will further promote the coordinated development of the university and its partners, enhance all-round cooperation with provincial and municipal governments and leading enterprises, give full play to the initiative and creativity of scientific researchers, transform more intellectual property achievements into real productivity, and strive to break through key bottlenecks in the development of major industries, so as to enhance the national comprehensive strength in science and technology competition.

In the next step, the school will take "double first-class construction" as the starting point, promote improvement of the "pre-patent evaluation mechanism", and implement the "reform plan for the empowerment of staff-created scientific and technological achievements".

The Institute of Science and Technology of XJTU has launched the implementation of intellectual property enhancement actions, including strengthening the construction of intellectual property systems, cultivation of high-value patents, and legal protection of intellectual property operations, intellectual property information services, and mechanisms for transfer of intellectual property.

These actions aim to strengthen the school's intellectual property management service capabilities, further improve the effectiveness of intellectual property application and transfer, and strive to build the school into a pioneer in intellectual property management with Chinese characteristics and demonstrated leadership, and support the construction of strong education, science and technology and intellectual property power in China.
