The CTUAAA delegation visits XJTU as part of its "five-campus tour".

A delegation from the Chiao-Tung University Alumni Association in America (CTUAAA) recently embarked on its "five-campus tour", visiting Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) from April 14 to 17.

The CTUAAA delegation includes alumni from all five Jiaotong institutions: XJTU, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.

A homecoming symposium was held at XJTU's Xingqing Campus on April 15, where Xie Dong, president of CTUAAA, noted that the association, established in 1943, currently covers 11 regions across the Americas. The "five-campus tour" aims to deepen understanding of the development of each alma mater, unite the strength of alumni from all five Jiaotong universities, and support the universities in talent recruitment and scientific innovation.

The delegation conducted a field inspection of iHarbour, learning in detail about the university's explorations and practices in new models of industry-education integration, key scientific research breakthroughs, and the transformation of research findings.

The delegation also visited the XJTU Museum and the Jiaotong University Westward Relocation Museum. Through historical archives and physical exhibits, they gained a profound understanding of the core of the Westward Relocation Spirit and the university's rich historical heritage.

The delegation also held a donation ceremony at XJTU on April 17.
