The First Medical Culture Development Forum of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and the 4th Peking University Medical Museum Forum were held from April 7-9, focusing on "Humanistic Warmth of Medicine, Mission of Medical Practitioners."

Jointly hosted by XJTU Health Science Center and Peking University Health Science Center, the forum attracted over 700 attendees and a large online audience. It covered topics such as medical cultural heritage, interdisciplinary integration of medicine and engineering, and digital advancements in medicine.

The main forum on April 8 at XJTU's Xingqing Campus featured academicians like Zhang Liqun, Han Qide, and Zhong Nanshan, who sent a congratulatory letter. Zhang emphasized the importance of humanities in medical progress, while Han advocated for enhancing China's medical museum system. Zhong praised medical museums' role in advancing the field.

In academic sessions, Tong Qingxi discussed remote sensing technology's impact on the Healthy China initiative, Dong Erdan explored innovative medical research paths, Zhao Yimin reviewed stomatological cultural heritage, and Guan Xiaohong highlighted the integration of art, information science, and medical research.

Keynote sessions offered diverse insights: XJTU's medical pioneers' legacy, technology-driven cultural inheritance, AI-enabled medical services, and the fusion of university spirit with ethnic medicine wisdom.

The forum included ceremonies such as the donation of medical history videos, the launch of creativity competitions, and the inauguration of industry alliances. Cultural dramas and themed exhibitions enriched the event.

A youth sub-forum on April 7 focused on medical culture inheritance and digital innovation. On April 9, parallel sub-forums covered medical museums, med-engineering integration, and intelligent museum construction, with awards and new initiatives unveiled.

The forum highlighted XJTU's commitment to western China and national development, establishing a key platform for medical culture exchange. The next session is scheduled for 2027 at Rehabilitation University.
