XJTU professor selected as Fellow of Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines

Huang is selected as a Fellow of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines.
Professor Huang Zuohua from the School of Energy and Power Engineering's National Key Laboratory of Green Hydrogen Power at Xi'an Jiaotong University has been selected as a Fellow of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines. This announcement was made at the 9th session of the 8th Executive Council meeting of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines.
The society has established the Fellow system, which represents the highest honor within the society. The goal of the Fellow designation is to encourage and recognize members who have made outstanding achievements in internal combustion engines and related new power fields, as well as those who have made significant contributions to the development of the society. The selection of the first group of Fellows was based on recommendations from the industry and organizations, professional reviews, and final approval.
Huang, PhD, doctoral advisor and recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, is the first Chinese scholar to serve as editor-in-chief of the international journal Fuel in its century-long history.
He is also a fellow and director of the International Combustion Institute, and a director of the International Internal Combustion Engine Association. He has received numerous international and domestic honors in the internal combustion engine sector and was invited to deliver a 60-minute keynote lecture at the 2024 International Combustion Academic Conference.
