XJTU students participate in UN job fair
The 5th UN Job Fair kicks off at Tsinghua University.
Students from XJTU attend the event.
The 5th United Nations Job Fair was held at Tsinghua University in Beijing from Oct 26 to 27. Representatives from 28 UN agencies engaged in exchanges with over 2,500 participants, including 11 students from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU).
The event started on Oct 26, with senior officials from agencies and institutes delivering speeches.
On Oct 27, the 28 international organizations presented to nearly 2,300 attendees and set up one-on-one consultation booths, allowing interested students and faculty to interact. The representatives detailed their agencies' missions, organizational structures, and recruitment plans.
XJTU students submitted resumes to their preferred agencies and inquired about internship opportunities and job responsibilities.
Since its launch in 2019, the UN Job Fair has been held five times, with the fourth edition co-hosted by XJTU and the China Scholarship Council. These fairs significantly enhance Chinese youth's understanding of international organizations and establish effective communication channels between Chinese universities and institutions.
