The 14th Qin Chuangyuan Chinese College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was held at Xi'an Jiaotong University last week. The host university won 11 gold awards at the competition, ranking first in the country, and was awarded the "Cup of Excellence".

On Saturday evening, the closing ceremony of the "Challenge Cup" was held, while the review meeting for college students' youth entrepreneurship and national service were held at the Siyuan Student Activity Center in the university.

Xi'an Jiaotong University had been preparing for the Challenge Cup since September last year and, with the support of the "Tengfei Cup" innovation and entrepreneurship competition on campus, more than 30 large-scale campus lectures and college mobilization meetings were held, attracting more than 2,000 student teams and tens of thousands of students to participate. 1,426 on and off campus mentors have guided students to participate, making the scale of participation the largest in history of the university.

The university has now won the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition "Excellence Cup" in all of its six editions since 2014.

This competition has nurtured more than 40 student entrepreneurship companies, represented by Youai Zhihe Robotics, with a valuation of nearly 20 billion yuan ($2.82 billion). Eight people have been awarded the title of National College Student Entrepreneurship Hero, ranking first in the country in terms of the number of recipients.
