The delegation from KU visits XJTU.

The two sides sign a cooperation agreement.

A delegation from Kasetsart University (KU) in Thailand visited Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) on Oct 29. The two parties discussed collaboration and signed a memorandum of understanding.

Shan Zhiwei, vice-president of XJTU, warmly welcomed Nuchanata Mungkung, vice-president of KU, and her delegation. Both parties introduced their respective universities and mutually desired to deepen cooperation in cultural exchanges and faculty and student visits.

KU, established in 1943, is Thailand's first agricultural university and the third-oldest university in the country. The university operates five campuses, with its main campus in Bangkok. It comprises 33 faculties, three colleges, four research institutes, and 18 research stations throughout Thailand.

In addition to its strength in agriculture and forestry, KU has been advancing its development as a comprehensive university by expanding its other disciplines, such as engineering, humanities, social sciences, economics, and business administration.
