XJTU hosts intl forum on China-Malaysia educational cooperation
Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) recently hosted an international forum on China-Malaysia educational cooperation and the development of international student programs at its Xingqing campus.

Wang Huan, deputy secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee, along with officials and school representatives from Xi'an and Malaysia, attended the forum. Wen Guangrui, dean of the School of International Education at XJTU, presided over the forum.
On behalf of XJTU, Wang warmly welcomed the Malaysian education community and the experts and scholars from various fields. She hoped the forum would spark further exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian institutions.
During the opening ceremony, XJTU signed partnership agreements with 12 Malaysian national secondary schools and Xi'an Liangjiatan International School, formally establishing bases for recruiting international students.

Partner schools were presented with commemorative plaques, marking a significant milestone in XJTU's international education efforts and opening a new chapter in China-Malaysia educational collaboration.
Tian Mei, associate dean of the School of International Education at XJTU, moderated the report segment of the forum. Throughout the three-day forum, representatives from China and Malaysia shared keynote reports on topics including China-Malaysia educational cooperation, the characteristics and development of Malaysia's education system, and XJTU's strengths in disciplinary development.
The forum fostered deeper integration in international student education between China and Malaysia and offered the Malaysian educational community valuable insights into the unique strengths of Chinese higher education. The event also enhanced XJTU's global visibility in the education sector.
