XJTU Vice-President Yan Junjie discusses with Sindh Agriculture University President Fateh Muhammad.

Fateh Muhammad, president of Sindh Agriculture University in Pakistan, led a delegation to visit Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) on Sept 21.

Yan Junjie, XJTU's vice-president, met with Fateh Muhammad, president of Sindh Agriculture University. The two sides discussed advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) cooperation projects between the two universities, as well as strengthening collaboration in talent cultivation and scientific research.

Also in attendance for the meeting were Kumbhar Muhammad, director of University Advancement and Financial Assistance at Sindh Agriculture University, Liu Wenfeng, director of XJTU's International Office, and Guo Xuesong, vice-dean of the School of Public Policy and Administration.

On behalf of XJTU, Yan warmly welcomed Fateh Muhammad and his delegation. He provided an overview of XJTU's educational strengths and reviewed the fruitful cooperation between the two universities in fields such as medicine and management. He also expressed hopes for further collaboration.

Fateh Muhammad shared details about Sindh Agriculture University and expressed his hope that the university could soon join the "Silk Road University Alliance" initiated by XJTU. This alliance would open up new avenues for in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research.

Both parties engaged in extensive discussions on advancing collaborative projects and expanding areas of cooperation.

Sindh Agriculture University is a comprehensive university with distinctive academic strengths. XJTU and Sindh Agriculture University have jointly undertaken the "Energy Infrastructure Construction and Human Subjectivity Development" project within the framework of CPEC, receiving strong support from Pakistan's Higher Education Commission.
