The Reel Africa film screening and salon event, hosted by the TV and Film Dubbing Center of China Media Group (CMG), recently took place at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU).

Co-organized by various departments at XJTU, the event is meant to align with the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Beijing Summit. Distinguished guests, including Cheng Jin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC XJTU Committee, and Kan Ping, deputy director of the CMG TV and Film Dubbing Center, were in attendance.

In his remarks, Cheng highlighted that the University Alliance of Silk Road, established by XJTU in 2015, has attracted universities from over 40 countries and regions, making significant contributions to the promotion of China-Africa cultural exchanges. The event, centered on a shared appreciation of film, marks a new chapter in China-Africa cultural collaboration.
