The 30th Anniversary Reunion Ceremony for 1994 Graduates of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was held at the Xingqing Campus on April 5.

More than 600 people attended the ceremony, including Zhang Liqun, president of XJTU, university leaders Chai Wei, Hong Jun, and Wang Huan, former secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee Wang Jianhua, leaders from various schools, representatives of teaching staff who taught the graduates during their time at the university, and representatives of the alumni.

The ceremony kicks off with a medley of nostalgic songs and a slideshow of old photos.

Zhang Liqun warmly welcomed the returning alumni and expressed heartfelt gratitude to alumni who have continued to support XJTU over the years. He emphasized that alumni are a reflection of the university's achievements in talent cultivation and are crucial to the university's continued development.

He said that the university takes pride in alumni who, in their respective roles and professions, have honed their skills and helped build a strong reputation for XJTU, as well as contributed to national development and social progress.

Furthermore, he gave a report on XJTU's achievements in 2023. XJTU will continue to innovate alumni work systems and mechanisms, maintain connections with alumni, unite alumni, and provide services for alumni. XJTU will also provide whatever support it can to support alumni in their careers.
