Tajikistan higher education delegation visits XJTU

The delegation visits the Jiaotong University Westward Relocation Museum.
On Sept 18, a higher education delegation from Tajikistan visited Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), where they were received by Shan Wenhua, assistant president of XJTU.
The delegation included members such as Hoshimzoda Homid Hasan, director of the Institute of Economy and Trade of Tajik State University of Commerce, and Samandarzoda Iskandar Husein, vice director of Tajik Agrarian University named Shirinsho Shotemur.
Shan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided a detailed overview of XJTU's history, academic disciplines, campus development, and the University Alliance of the Silk Road.
He emphasized the university's strong commitment to cooperation in education, science, technology, and talent development with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, especially those in Central Asia.
He said he hoped that both parties would enhance mutual learning and exchanges and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes at a higher level.
Hoshimzoda expressed his gratitude for XJTU's warm welcome and expressed the same hope that further cooperation between the two parties will take place in the future.
After the meeting, the delegation held discussions with XJTU's School of Journalism and New Media. Both parties unanimously agreed to collaborate and explore areas such as book publishing, copyright transactions, and digital publishing, and reached preliminary intentions for cooperation.
The delegation also visited XJTU's Jiaotong University Westward Relocation Museum.
