XJTU signs a cooperation agreement with Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad.

A signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad (Press Metal Bhd), a giant in the aluminum industry in Malaysia, took place on Aug 25.

Xi Guang, vice president of XJTU, Choa Wei Keong, chief operating officer of Press Metal Bhd, Feng Baohuai, general manager of Jiangsu Xianhe Intelligent Equipment Co, and other relevant representatives from the three parties attended the ceremony.

Xi offered his congratulations on the signing and expressed hope that the two parties will use the opportunity to explore a new model of deep integration of industry, study and utilization, promote the incubation of achievements, layout the industrial chain around the innovation chain, and realize the sharing of intellectual resources.

Choa Wei Keong expressed the same hope that the collaboration will serve as a starting point to establish a cooperative platform between Press Metal Bhd and XJTU, adding that the two parties will deepen exchanges and facilitate the implementation of more industrial projects.

Choa Wei Keong also signed a cooperation agreement with Yu Yunsong, vice dean of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at XJTU, on a carbon capture and utilization project.
