Recently, the winners of the 24th China Patent Award were announced, and Xi'an Jiaotong University achieved remarkable success with three invention patents.

The patents titled "A high-power heating system and its regulation method for liquid sodium metal" and "A single domainization method for nonlinear optical materials of relaxor-ferroelectric single crystal" received the gold award, while the patent titled "Magnetic blowing method for contact of electromagnetic repulsion switch and switch system" was honored with the excellence award.

XJTU has consistently achieved outstanding results in the China Patent Award selection. Since 2000, the university has won a total of 22 awards, placing it at the forefront of the nation in terms of the total number of accolades received.

In this edition of the patent awards, 29 Gold Awards were presented nationwide. XJTU received two of them, ranking first in the country. In 2021 and 2022, the university's patent transfer and transformation quantities ranked third and fifth, respectively, among all universities in China.
