Zhang Nan won 'IEEE Ferroelectrics Young Investigator Award'
Zhang Nan, a professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, wins the "2022 IEEE Ferroelectrics Young Investigator Award".
Professor Zhang Nan of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) won the "2022 IEEE Ferroelectrics Young Investigator Award" for her outstanding contributions in facilitating the understanding of links between the crystallography, structure and applicable properties of ferroelectric materials.
Zhang joined the XJTU Faculty of Electronic and Information Engineering in 2015 and has since been engaged in the multi-scale structure research of crystalline materials at the Electronic Materials Research Laboratory, a key laboratory of the Ministry of Education.
Zhang enjoys a high degree of international influence with her innovative research results in the relationship between the structure and properties of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials. Her achievements have been published in top international academic journals such as Nature and Physical Review.
The award is granted by the IEEE UFFC, one of the world's top technical professional societies, to scholars under the age of 40 on account of their contributions to fundamental research, integration, application, or education. Only one recipient receives the award each year.
