XJTU holds 3rd talents camp
From April 16 to 17, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) held a talents camp to prepare young talents for global governance.
Zheng Qinghua, vice president of XJTU, participated in the online event and pointed out that XJTU needs to proactively shoulder the responsibilities of cultivating talents for global governance with both national realities and complex international landscape in mind. He encouraged students to have lofty dreams, take part in innovations and practices and then strive to be outstanding professionals in global governance.
Zhang Shuanggu, vice president of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, mentioned his personal experiences as he called on students to have a deeper understanding of global governance, confront challenges head-on and emerge stronger from difficulties.
The online event was attended by officials and experts from both domestic and international institutions, 150 students from China’s universities, as well as people responsible for this camp. During the two days, the camp managed 10 training activities.
