Two entries from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) won first prizes at the 14th National 3D Digital Innovative Design Competition, which kicked off in March 2021.

The award-winning entries from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) at the 14 National 3D Digital Innovative Design Competition.

The university attached great importance to this competition, exerted efforts in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship achievements, and made positive progress in creating experimental teaching, as well as an innovation and entrepreneurship education system with XJTU characteristics.

The 14th competition attracted 15,830 teams from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country to submit 12,149 entries. Nearly 100 renowned experts in industrial, academic and business circles were invited to evaluate the works.

Integrating education, industry, enterprises and government, the competition has grown into one of China's largest, strongest and most influential public welfare competitions combining internet and innovation with high standards.

In particular, it has played an important role in guiding young students to participate in the digital economy, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Since its launch in 2008, the competition has been held 14 times and has been highly valued by local governments, universities and enterprises. 

This year, the competition gained support from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education and the China Association for Science and Technology.
