XJTU research results in vivo imaging field published in Cell Stem Cell
Huang Qiang, a pediatric surgeon of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, together with Shen Xiling, a professor at Duke University, recently released an article, “The Frontier of Live Tissue Imaging across Space and Time”, in the top international journal Cell Stem Cell, summarizing the main research technology and latest achievements in the vivo imaging field. The article introduces the advantages and disadvantages of various imaging methods, including their scope and applications in various organ systems and organoid research fields, especially that of stem cells. The article also introduces different labelling technique for researchers of different fields.
The paper's first author is Huang. Aliesha Garrett and Shree Bose, doctoral students of Duke University, are the co-first authors. Shen, also a guest professor at Huang's hospital, is the corresponding author. The pediatric surgery unit of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University is the first signature unit of the paper. This paper is another important achievement by Huang in the field of vivo imaging system after his article in Science of April 2020.
