Jiang Zhuangde wins the 13th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize
The 13th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize was announced in Beijing on November 8, 2020. Fortyexperts and oneteam won the prize, including XJTU professor Jiang Zhuangde.
Jiang Zhuangde, a memberof the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is a professor at XJTU's School of Mechanical Engineering. An expert in mechanical manufacturing and automation, he has long been engaged in micro-nano manufacturing and advanced sensing technology, precision ultra-precision processing and testing technology and equipment, and biological detection instruments.
Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize, known as "the highest prize in China's engineering field", was established with donations from Zhu Guangya, vice chairman of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the first president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Taiwanese industrialists Yin Yanliang, Du Junyuan, and Chen Youhao. It was approved and authorized by the National Office for Science and Technology Awards and is managed by Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize Foundation and directed by the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
