Three XJTU alumnae included in Forbes China: 50 Top Women in Tech
Forbes China launched its first annual list to honor the 50 Top Women in Tech in Mainland China, with 3 XJTU alumnae included.
Zhang Yue'e studied for her Bachelor's degree at XJTU from 1981 to 1985 in Material Science and Engineering. She is the founder, board chair, and CEO of PW Medtech Group Limited, and a founder and shareholder in Lepu Medical. She was listed as a female philanthropist in the Hurun Philanthropy List 2019. In 2018, Zhang Yue'e and her husband, Pu Zhongjie, both XJTU alumni, donated 100 million RMB to their Alma Mater – XJTU, and established the XJTU Siyuan & Puhui Education Development Fund to support the Program for Cultivating Academic and Innovative Elites, namely, the“Academic Elite Program”.
Yu Quan studied for her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Foreign Trade at XJTU from 1988 to 1992. General Manager, Department of Credit Risks Management, Ant Financial Service Group, she and her team members have, over the last four years, created a rigorous credit risk management system and promoted innovative applications of big-data and intellectualized systems in loan risk management. These efforts have helped Ant Financial provide more inclusive financial products for consumers and small and micro businesses.
Dong Xingli studied Power Systems and Automation at XJTU from 1993 to 2000, earing both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She also completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at XJTU. She is the current vice president of Schneider Electric, responsible for global R&D of energy automation. She and her team have participated in several international standards formulations in their field, supporting the standardization of energy automation.
