Doctors in the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU participate in writing clinical management principles for treating cardiovascular patients during the COVID-19 epidemic
The outbreak of COVID-19 increases the deadly threat to cardiovascular patients while no advice was provided by the world under such special circumstance. The Chinese Society of Cardiology (CSC) took swift actions and called on experts to work out clinical management principles in treating cardiovascular patients during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Cardiology professor Yuan Zuyi from the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU participated in writing Expert Consensus on Principles of Clinical Management of Patients with Severe Emergent Cardiovascular Diseases during the COVID-10 Epidemic. The Consensus was published in the Chinese Journal of Cardiology and Circulation, giving advice to doctors when encountering such a situation.
The article shared“China's experience”to clinical doctors worldwide, gave a detailed introduction in how to conduct risk assessments of patients in the Emergency Department with severe emergent cardiovascular diseases, protection of medical workers during this special period, and the principles to treat patients based on triage.
