A COVID-19 pulmonary infection auxiliary diagnosis system developed
According to the Guidelines on the Novel Coronavirus-Infected Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment (Tentative, the Fifth Revision), Hubei Province, the epidemic focus in China, added“clinical diagnosis cases”to confirmed cases, meaning that patients show imagery characteristics of pneumonia will be confirmed with COVID-19. The iconography team led by Guo Youmin of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU cooperated with medical imaging technology companies and developed a COVID-19 pulmonary infection auxiliary diagnosis system. It provides rapid detection of lesion sites, quantized evaluation of lesion range, and assessment of lesion development. This system is now free of charge for medical workers in China in order to support disease control and prevention.
