On the morning of June 17, 2019, a 15-member Pakistani education delegation led by Professor Ahsan Ul Haq visited XJTU and were met by Rong Mingzhe, XJTU Vice-president.

Professor Ahsan Ul Haq commented that he had a better understanding of China's higher education development during the several-day visit to China. It was a rewarding visit and he hopes to have more contact with XJTU, to establish student exchange programs, and to send more Pakistani students to XJTU for short-term or degree-oriented study.
