On the morning of May 9, 2019, Malawi's High Powered Education Delegation visited XJTU. XJTU Vice President Yan Hong extended a warm welcome. He also expressed the hope to conduct practical cooperation with African universities in the future in disease research and treatment, such as cooperative research on cancer treatment.
