From April 15-20, 2019, an XJTU delegation composed of representatives of the Graduate School, School of Mechanical Engineering and School of International Education visited Russia to promote international student admission at the invitation of the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and IRKUTSK State University.

On April 16th, the delegation visited the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where Vice-Rector Alexander Y. Tarasov met with the XJTU delegation, introduced their university, and expressed his appreciation to the cooperation between both sides over the past three years, and expressed the hope that cooperation with XJTU in international student education and scientific research would be further enhanced. The XJTU delegation visited Moscow Power Engineering Institute's laboratoriesof energy &power and electric engineering. Both parties discussed research progress in related disciplines and discussed future cooperation.
