On October 18, 2018, the finals of the 4thMicro-course Contest of Foreign Language in China was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. XJTU young teacher Ms. Qian Xi won the only grand prize by the undergraduate teaching group, and Ms. Chu Jianwei won third prize in the final. Both teachers, with the name of their courses respectively, How to Describe a Conceptand BP Debate Format and Speakers' Roles, are from the School of Foreign Studies of XJTU and ranked first in the competition of the Shaanxi division. In the finals, judges spoke highly of Qian Xi's work, including topic selection, course design, academic principles adopted and video design, teaching plan and assignment to students.
