XJTU Professor Yang Shusen wins first “DAMA Academy Young Fellow” Award
On the morning of September 19, 2018, Alibaba announced the establishment of the "DAMA Academy Young Fellow" award at the 2018 Hangzhou Yunqi Conference. Nine young scholars won the award in the first session. Professor Yang Shusen from the School of Mathematics and Statistics of XJTU was included among the winners for his contribution to big data and the internet of things.
Yang Shusen, Professor of the School of Mathematics and Statistics of XJTU, is a doctoral advisor, and a young scholar of "The Recruitment Program of Global Experts". He joined the Department of Information Science, School of Mathematics and Statistics of XJTU in 2016. He is currently deputy director of the Department and the director of the Software and Hardware Support Technology Center of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Algorithms and Analysis Technology. He is also an honorary research fellow of the Imperial College London, and an IEEE Senior Member. He has long been engaged in the research and application of cross-domain theory of big data analysis and distributed computer systems (internet of things, cloud computing).
