On May 10th, 2018, the Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering Sub-Alliance in University Alliance of the Silk Road (MAE-UASR), initiated by the School of Aerospace of XJTU, was officially established.

In the afternoon of the day, the first meeting of the Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering Sub-Alliance in University Alliance of the Silk Road and serial signing ceremonies were held. Attending representatives shared their views on the development of the Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering Sub-Alliance and on student education, scientific research cooperation, team development, and people-to-people exchanges.
