On 23th and 24th July, "Robo Masters" college students robot westernfinal contest was held in Xi’an Jiaotong University. A total of 17 teams from China western universities took part in the finals. “Duxing” team from Xi'an Jiaotong University performed excellently and claimed the championship.

The “Duxing” team has won the golden medalin northwestern finals and silver medal in national finals in Robo Masters 2015. 70% of the “Duxing” team members are graduate students coming from the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering, and School of Electrical Engineering who are responsible for the mechanics, electronic control and visual effects.
