XJTU Faculty and Students attended the First Nanobiomedicine Photoelectricity Seminar cross the Strait at Taiwan
The First Nanobiomedicine and Photoelectricity Seminar cross the Strait was held in Taiwan from October 26 to November 1. The seminar was jointly initiated by professor Yang Zhizhong from the Photoelectricity Research Institute of Taiwan University and professor Zhang Zhenxi from the School of Life Science and Technology. The two parties invited experts cross the Strait to the seminar to exchange and discuss through presentations.
26 experts and scholars from Taiwan University, the Applied Science Research Center of Taiwan Central Research Institute, Taiwan Biomedicine and Nanomedicine Research Institute, Chenggong University, Taiwan Normal University, Xinzhu Tsinghua University, Xinzhu Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Semiconductor Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, China Medicine University and Xi'an Tianlong Science and Technology Co., Ltd participated the seminar. The topics of the seminar covered the latest researches like the preparation of nanomaterial, functionalization, optical and thermal tracer, medicine delivery biomarker, imaging technology and the targeting inactivation of tumor cell. The seminar engaged the participants in exchanges and discussions, greatly expanding their academic horizon and thoughts.
Professor Zhang Zhenxi from the Molecular Instrument Research Institute of the School of Life Science and Technology presented the researches of the group over the years, including the photodynamic therapy of nanomaterial, heart cursor measuring technology and photocatalysis inactivation effect of nanomaterial on tumor cell. Associate professor Yao Cuiping delivered a keynote speech on the micro-operation of surface decorated nanomaterial, which includes gold nanoparticles-based photoperforation , imaging and cell inactivation and gold magnet nanoparticles. He also introduced the theoretical analysis, experiment validation and model building of gold nanoparticles based photoperforation. Associate professor Zhao Yongxi from the Biological Information Center presented the new photobiological sensor technology based on signal amplification and its application in the test of microRNA, telomere enzyme, methylate enzyme and heavy metal ion. Prof. Dong Yanhua presented the optical sensor array of nanomaterial in the test and identification of protein.
As the chairman of Next Nanobiomedicine and Photoelectricity Seminar cross the Strait, professor Zhang Zhenxi from XJTU delivered an invitation to conference participants to Xi'an for the 2016 Second Nanobiomedicine and Photoelectricity Seminar cross the Strait.
