XJTU and OMRON Build a Joint Laboratory
On June 6, delegation from Japan's OMRON Corporation, led by the chairman of the board of directors, Mr.Tateishi Fumio, visited XJTU and the two parties renewed their longstanding agreement and declared the opening of a joint laboratory. Party Secretary Zhang Maizeng met with the visiting guests in room 107 of Science Hall.
Secretary Zhang said in his speech that Omron had maintained a ten-year cooperation relationship with XJTU. He said that the cooperation between the two parties was extensive and deep and had a firm foundation. He announced that the ten year agreement had been renewed, and that the cooperation between the two parties had entered a new historic stage. He expressed the earnest wish that the two parties can march forward and open the door to future projects supported by the firm platform of a joint laboratory. OMRON chairman of the board Tateishi Fumio thanked XJTU for its long-term support. He said that Kyoto, where OMRON is headquartered, has a deep historic origin and friendly relationship with Xi’an. The cooperation between OMRON and XJTU has achieved excellent results in many aspects, including technology R&D and talent training and he believed that the future cooperation would continue to provide mutual benefit in a win-win environment.
