On the afternoon of November 7, at the invitation of the Department of Endocrinology, Professor Basil Rapoport and Professor Sandy Mclachla from the University of California visited XJTU's First Hospital.

Accompanied by the vice president of the First Hospital, Professor Shi Bingyin and Professor Hou Peng, the guests visited the new outpatient building, the wards and laboratory of the Department of Endocrinology of the First Hospital and met with the doctors and graduate students there.

Professors Rapoport and Mclachla are well-known in their field. Professor Rapoport was the first researcher to successfully clone the TSH receptor. Recently, his laboratory has been doing ground-breaking work in basic research period.
