At the invitation of Micronano Yardstick Material Behavior Research Center, the senior editor of the widely respected periodical Nature Materials Dr. Joerg Heber visited XJTU on the morning of September 26 and lectured on the topic "How to Get Published in Nature Materials," in which he shared his own successful experiences in publishing papers in Nature Materials.

Prior to the lecture, Vice President Lu Tianjian met with the visiting guests in room 107 of the Science Hall, and gave them a brief introduction to XJTU, its history, programs, and current development plans. He said that XJTU is committed to becoming an internationally recognized first-class university and set very high standards for itself with regard to the publication of academic papers. He added that the faculty and students would benefit greatly from Dr. Heber's visit and the opportunity to hear about his latest work. Dr. Heber said that he was interested in learning more about XJTU's international cooperation and exchange programs.
