Stanford University Professor Marcus Feldman awarded Dan David Prize
On May 15, in a ceremony held at Tel Aviv University, Stanford University biology professor Marcus Feldman was awarded one of this year's one million dollar Dan David Prizes for his outstanding contributions in the field of evolution. Israeli President Shimon Peres and Italian President Giorgio Napolitano attended the ceremony.
Professor Feldman, who is the director of Stanford's Morrison Institute for Population and Resource Studies, works closely with XJTU's Institute for Population and Development Studies, and is the director of the university's Center for Complexity Studies.
